Events unfailingly follow each other.
Man, in his eagerness to understand this uncontrollable phenomenon, called it time and created a system to measure it.
Faced with uncertainty, man tries to measure everything.
Time is a human perception. Therefore it is relative to its state.
It doesn´t elapse at the same speed if one is underwater, on free fall, bored or feeling euphoric.
Our perception of time varies according to circumstances. Each one of us perceives it differently too.
According to Karlheinz Stockhausen “music is the perception of time through sound”.
Being essentially immaterial, music is considered a temporary art or an art of time.
RE RE AL
REREAL is the abbreviation of REinvención en la REproducción ALeatoria, an experimental project formed by eight electronic compositions.
Each piece is formed by hundreds of fragments, especially composed, that allow the possibility of two different modes of reproduction:
- Lineal, in order.
- Random, that offers the possibility of reinventing itself each time it is heard thus recreating a practically unprecedented version.
REREAL can be reproduced online in any device or platform without using any additional software and it is totally free to use.
It was composed, recorded, edited and mixed by Jesús Fernández in SUS Estudio, General Roca, Rio Negro, Argentina between 2020 and 2021.
